Drift Test Zolder, 4 Nov.

Experience meets new talent at the test day, Zolder.

Belgian drifter Olivier Colicis chats to Tom Coronel sr. at the drift test and pratice day in Zolder (BE). "Waste no rubber" was the slogan for the day as drifters from both sides of the border got together to hone their skills, test their cars and look for that elusive "perfect setup".

The weather was good with skid pans being regularly re-sprayed with water to ensure good drifting practice for novices and experienced drivers alike. Unfortunately some "touché" work during a practice run resulted in some damage to the newly sprayed Skyline.. Why does it always happen on a Friday afternoon?















Plenty of burnouts and blowouts all day with a final chance to let off some steam around the main track at Zolder. It was pretty dark...meaning it was difficult to see the Yellow flag indicating that one of the Volvo's had spun off...yet again..

Skyline Gespoten

De afgelopen dagen heeft Rik hard aan de Skyline gewerkt om het uiteindelijk gisteravond te spuiten. Zo dadelijk ga ik foto's nemen om deze te publiceren. De kleur is super geworden! Strak gespoten, werkelijk een plaatje. Vandaag gaat Rik hem afbouwen en vanmiddag rijdt Rik de Skyline naar Nederland. Vrijdag ff driftlessen geven op Circuit Zolder (14 cursisten) en het laatste uurtje zelf ff trainen voor de Big Final 3 december a.s. op Circuit Zolder.
