Today I received the news that Wim Peeters isn't able to race the Pontiac Transam this weekend due to a holiday. This Saturday I will start with practice and working on the set up. On Sunday 3 races and a Final at Speedway Warneton. These extremely powerful racecars only weigh 900kg with a power rating of 450 BHP. With a lap record of 13 sec. , 160 km/h topspeed on this on only 420 meters of racetrack and battling with 14 cars, you can imagine what kind of adrenaline shot this will give.
