Kart Event Report

Joep concentrates on the track ahead..

A very good event with a very nice result. With 10Dens Racing we took 3rd position and also with the ING Bank team. Each team consisted of 4 drivers. You gain a lot of time with refuelling stops , so by using radio we had the chance to skip 15 places in the pitlane.

With 10Dens racing we had a horrible kart for race 1. No brakes and no grip. During the break they swapped the front tires for new ones and checked the brakes. I did the 3rd stint, a lot of grip but once again.. no brakes. I mean NO BRAKES! After my stint I tried to stop in the pitlane, so Olaf could take over the wheel, but I stopped 5 meters too far. At the end we finished 2nd in the race, with an overall 3rd place for the event.

At the end it was Party time!!
