The 2006 look for the Skyline

A spectacular weekend in Maastricht for the crew from DRIFTSCHOOL who put on a great show along with guest drivers and drifters such as Olaf Commijs and the Coronel Brothers who added to the spectacle on Saturday evening. Erwin Jansen put on a great show in the PORSCHE and provided an exciting battle with Joep de Kort with both cars bumper to bumper and lots of overtaking and dodging positions. Mike de Bruijn and Tim van Bebber added to the spectacle with some excellent shows of control, along with Wilco van Esch, Olivier Colisis and Ad Kamps in his Mercedes. Judith worked hard in the ticket area and Joep ran around wearing his many hats with a few minutes here and there to put in some great drifting. The show was all the more amazing because of engine/clutch slip problems with the Skyline when it arrived from having a new engine/clutch unit fitted. At the end of the weekend an unknown mechanical failure took the car out of the competition but it is now in the workshop being inspected. That's racing!!..
